They lay down nicely with bold colors. It is a bit scratchy, but that is outweighed by its good qualities. It blends nicely and feels like the holbein pencils! High quality.
The two color charts on the card sleeve don't match up. The blank swatch chart on the inside correctly matches the pencils so go by that chart and numbers. Looks to be a typo error.
Wonderful set of budget pencils
First time using colored pencils outside of an adult coloring book. I’ve been trying all sorts of new medias and am wanting to begin mixed media (paints, pencils, inks and pastel). I realize I have a long way to go with lots of sketchbook practice but I am in love with these pencils. The coverage is exceptional, they are creamy and bright and felt very comfortable in my hand. I am so happy to have a product that I can afford, this keeps me from hoarding them instead of using them. I’m so excited and I would definitely buy again in future and recommend to others.
Impressive for the price, the pencil color went down effortlessly and blended really well. I have a menagerie of colored pencils including Holbein and Caren d’ Ache, I will definitely use these and would recommend them for beginners or just to round out your colored pencil inventory. Pretty colors and unbeatable value.
